We’re Chris and Eleni, founders of High Desert Stays, a vacation rental and co-hosting company crafted from a love of travel and a desire to share the stunning natural beauty, amazing local cuisine, and unique adventures of New Mexico with others.
Our journey began in 2023, when hosting our first “Airbnb” became a grounding, creative outlet during the pandemic. What started as a passion project quickly grew into something more, and through word of mouth, neighbor introductions, and referrals by our beloved cleaners, we’ve built a small but mighty collection of beautifully designed and thoughtfully managed vacation rentals in Taos. As we plan for the future, we have added Emily, our sister-in-law, who brings a background in architectural design and new construction project management.
